Hello UX community! We are back with another update mainly consisting of the notifications to keep you up to date for recent activity on your posts. Below you can see a list of all the relevant things added/changed.
Major Updates:

Enhanced Notifications System:
  • You will receive a notification when someone likes, comments, replies your post and mentions you.
  • New sign-in sidebar for viewing notifications.
  • Sorting by mentions and recent activity.
  • Introduction of read/unread toggles.
Visual updates:
  • Unread count indicator
  • Notification sorting
  • Clearer delete options
Notifications User Interface Improvements:
  • Notifications design aligned with overall user interface adjustments.
  • Refined options menu visibility and positioning for notification card.
  • Consistent styling for notification cards, including width, alignment, and text limits.
Minor Other Adjustments:
  • Posts that are saved now show the user information rather than "undefined".
  • Removed unnecessary "loading..." message and "No more comments" feedback.

Hello again UX community! We have now released beta V1.4.0 which includes three new features!
What's New:
Resources:
You can now view resources for any information regarding videos, articles, or courses.
Like jobs or events, you can also request to upload your own resource.
Saving:
You can now save posts, events, jobs, and resources which you can view on the saved page. To make things easy, each item is organized under their own category and which also includes a search bar to make it easy to find a specific piece of information.
Replying works for any post comment:
In the comment section on posts, you can now reply to any type of comment. Before you could only reply to a comment that wasn't also a reply.
We're constantly working to make UX Was Here more user-friendly and reliable. Greetings, UX community! We're back with another update that fine-tunes UX Was Here, making job hunting and community interactions even more seamless and efficient. Beta V1.3.2 is all about enhancing functionality and squashing bugs to give you a smoother experience.

Jobs Page Enhancements:
Pagination: Navigate through job listings with ease using our new pagination feature, making your search more manageable.
Display Options:
Customize how you view job listings with new display filters—choose to see 15, 30, or 50 jobs per page.
Sorting Capabilities: Now you can sort job postings by date, viewing the newest or oldest listings first to keep up with the latest opportunities.
Bug Fixes:
Emoji Picker Performance:
We've made the emoji picker more responsive, so adding a little flair to your posts is quicker than ever.
Mobile Posting:
Improved the mobile view UI to prevent accidental post submissions when pressing enter.
Stability Enhancements:
Fixed an issue where verified email accounts were causing the site to crash when trying to comment.

Event Submission: Users can now request to add their own UX-related events to the platform, expanding our community-driven event listings.
Improvements:
Enhanced User Interaction: Streamlined the user experience on the Jobs Page, making it easier and more intuitive to navigate through job opportunities.
Event Discovery: Filtering capabilities on the Events Page, allow for a tailored experience to find events that best suit your interests.
Bug Fixes:
Jobs Page Duplication: Resolved an issue where users’ job post requests would duplicate upon admin approval.
Image Scaling and Load Times: Addressing known issues with image scaling on the Events Page for a more visually appealing layout.
Comment Loading: Identified an issue with comments not adding in real-time; a fix is in progress.
Load Times: Our team is optimizing load times to ensure swift access to all events and features.

As we continue to enhance UwH, this update brings significant improvements to job posting functionality, UI/UX enhancements, security, and more. Here's what's new in V1.2.0:
New Features:
  • Job Posting:
    Users can now create job postings directly on the site.
  • Admin Panel for Jobs:
    Admins can review, edit, and confirm job postings.
  • Job Form:
    Added validation for required fields and introduced a category field for filtering.
  • Job Search:
    Search and filter functionality added to the jobs page.
  • Newsletter:
    Launched our first weekly email newsletter.
Improvements:
  • Admin Panel:
    Expanded to include a count beside "Pending Requests" and adjustments to the mobile view.
  • Mobile Navigation:
    Side nav improved to close upon selection and adjusted to a third of the screen width.
  • Job Cards:
    Middle-aligned images and resized for a proper fit. Alphabetically ordered filters for job sites and locations.
UI/UX Enhancements:
  • Sign-In Modal:
    Background darkens for better focus on the modal.
  • Commenting:
    Adjusted to not submit until the 'Post' button is pressed.

    Unified styling to match the theme and added loading indicators for job actions.

Known Issues:
  • Image Handling:
    Working on cases where deleting or updating images doesn't remove the old ones from the database.
  • Preview Feature:
    Paused the share preview feature implementation to seek additional support.
